Through my Registered Counselling Supervisor (RCS) designation with the Association of Cooperative Counselling Therapists of Canada (ACCT) I offer process-oriented and competency based supervision. Process-oriented supervision uses a counsellor’s awareness, their description of how they conceptualize their client’s issues, and their own personal experiences, to develop personal insights and enhance professional skills.

Clinical supervision supports the development of the worker to gain insight to counter-transferences and “use of self.” It also supports the professional development and education of the therapist, integrating the theory to clinical practice while supporting the identifying of the ‘blind spots’ within ourselves.

The role of clinical supervision is to provide clinical ‘oversight’ to ensure all aspects of the client’s welfare are monitored from a trauma informed perspective of ‘do no harm’ and that we are always working and practicing within the best interests of the client.

Laura is a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor (RTC) with the Association of Cooperative Counselling Therapists (ACCT) and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of Victoria and a Diploma in Transpersonal Counselling Psychology.

Serving clients remotely ONLINE

Laura specializes in working with clients experiencing life transitions, anxiety, self-esteem, and relationship issues.

“Transitions and challenges in life are inevitable and they can feel overwhelming…. I hold compassionate space for my clients as they navigate life’s ups and downs, helping them to look at patterns that are holding them back from living the life that they desire, and create a deeper connection with themselves and others.

Through lived experience with challenging transitions in my own life, this led me down a path of self-discovery and healing. Having experienced the benefits of therapy, achieving a greater understanding of myself, creating new habits, and overcoming difficult patterns, I choose to pursue a career as a therapist.

I truly believe that transformation is possible by connecting with our highest potentials, looking beyond your limiting beliefs, and harnessing the wisdom, compassion, and unconditional love that’s inside of us all.”

Laura has also trained as a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner and is currently at the intermediate level.

She is a trauma-informed, client-centred therapist, and utilizes an integrative approach based on mindfulness, experiential, and relational modalities, and is also an Internal Family Systems Informed Therapist.

She caters each session to her client’s particular needs and goals. She brings warmth, calm, compassion and knowledge to her sessions, and offers a non-judgmental and safe space. Laura helps her clients gain clarity, peace, direction, confidence, and purpose through life’s pivotal moments and beyond.

Laura offers flexible online therapy options to fit your busy schedule. She is available for virtual sessions anytime, anywhere, so you can receive top-notch support from the comfort of your home or on the go.

“One of my main challenges was to know and live my worth. Growing up in an immigrant family with generational loss and emotional trauma, I struggled to acknowledge my needs and establish healthy boundaries. In an effort to find meaningful change and live my potential, I entered therapy.

I broke intergenerational cycles. Going through this process changed my life. I now live an empowered, thoughtful, and aware life and am a present and valued member of my family system and community.”

Phoebe is a first-generation immigrant from China who grew up in Ontario and in addition to her private practice, has been a flight attendant for nearly a decade. She strives to create an accepting and safe space for her clients, where they feel heard, seen, and understood. Craig is a Master Therapeutic Counsellor and Registered Counselling Supervisor with the ACCT (Association of Cooperative Counselling Therapists) and a Counselling Therapist with ACTA (The Association of Counselling Therapy of Alberta) with over 15-years experience.

ONLINE & In-Person (Edmonton, AB)

Craig is a client-centred, experiential counsellor who takes an integrative approach to anxiety, stress, parenting issues, grief and loss, couples issues, anger, and trauma. He’s worked with a diverse client population, including those who identify as LGBT2QIA and holds a diploma in Transpersonal Counselling Psychology.

Craig has worked with individuals, families, couples and youth in private practice and within family service agencies. He facilitated and a men’s group for 4-years and worked with veterans and high-risk youth. Craig has trained in Family Systems Theory, Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), Mediation and Conflict Resolution, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Breathwork Therapy, and Mindfulness.

For 12 years, Craig worked for Clearmind International Institute, an accredited private post-secondary college as an Instructor of the Practitioners Counsellor Training Program, a 3-year part-time counsellor training program, and as a workshop facilitator.

“Change often involves letting go of strategies that we initially developed to protect ourselves. Giving up familiar patterns and habits (even those which are no longer helpful or adaptive) can be scary. I help clients regulate anxiety in the face of change. I support clients to tune into the wisdom of their core, adaptive feelings. When experienced fully, these healthy emotions provide important information about basic needs and guide us to act in ways that better fulfill these needs. This empowers clients to live more fully and freely, with greater satisfaction.

This inviting, experiential approach is particularly well suited to clients who want to enhance their sense of connection with themselves and others, and to people who want to experience greater self-esteem and self-trust.”

Craig offers flexible online therapy options to fit your busy schedule. He is available for virtual sessions anytime, anywhere, so you can receive top-notch support from the comfort of your home or on the go. Or visit him in-person at his office located in Edmonton, AB
